Through experienced coaching, positive mentorship, and a commitment to excellence, we strive to help every player reach their full potential—not only as athletes, but as young men and women who are prepared to succeed in life.- - -We're developing more than basketball players—we're developing future leaders. Basketball is what brings us together. The lessons learned through it are what last a lifetime.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a premier youth basketball program that empowers athletes of all skill levels to reach their fullest potential. We aim to create an environment where players learn, grow, and thrive—whether developing fundamentals in the Academy or competing at the highest levels. Through strong coaching, family support, and a commitment to excellence, 901 Eagles Basketball seeks to inspire the next generation of leaders, competitors, and confident young adults.

Club History

The 901 Eagles was founded by Coach Micah Branch and Jamie Wilson Coggins, combining a shared passion for developing young athletes with years of experience in coaching, organization, and community leadership.

Their partnership began in 2019 when they launched a youth running club that quickly became one of the area's premier programs. Together, they organized practices, hosted cross country meets and track meets, and created opportunities for young athletes to compete and grow in a positive environment.

When the COVID-19 pandemic brought school sports to a halt in 2020, Micah and Jamie saw an opportunity to serve the community in a different way. They opened the gym doors to young basketball players who suddenly had nowhere to practice, train, or compete. What started as a way to keep kids active quickly grew into something much bigger.

As interest continued to grow, the program expanded into a full youth basketball organization, offering opportunities for both boys and girls to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and experience the value of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Over the years, the organization has continued to evolve, ultimately becoming the 901 Eagles—a program built on development, character, and community.

Today, the 901 Eagles proudly serves boys and girls from 2nd grade through high school, offering multiple teams, experienced coaching, weekly practices and games, tournaments, strength and conditioning, and opportunities to compete both locally and through travel basketball. In addition to year-round player development, the organization hosts its own play days and tournaments, bringing together teams from across the Mid-South while creating memorable experiences for athletes and families.
